Brisk Teaching hires EdTech veteran Jon Neale to drive UK growth

Brisk Teaching has appointed Jon Neale as its new Partnerships and Community Consultant for the UK and Ireland. The move comes as the company looks to expand the reach of its AI-powered browser extension, already used by over 100,000 educators worldwide. Neale brings a strong background in EdTech growth, having previously led UK expansion for Quizizz and served as VP of Education at Mote. Neale’s role will centre on building strategic partnerships and driving adoption of Brisk’s tool in schools across the UK and Ireland. The browser extension integrates with existing teaching platforms, helping teachers streamline tasks like creating materials, providing feedback, and analysing student writing.

Brisk’s founder, Arman Jaffer, has criticised many EdTech firms for prioritising engagement metrics over real classroom impact. The company’s tool aims to address this by focusing on practical support for educators rather than just user activity. Before joining Brisk, Neale played a key part in scaling Quizizz’s presence in the UK. His experience also includes leadership at Mote, where he worked on educational technology solutions for teachers and students.

Neale’s appointment signals Brisk’s push to strengthen its position in UK and Irish schools. His work will focus on growing the user base of its AI tool, which currently supports over 100,000 educators. The company aims to make teaching workflows more efficient through targeted partnerships and community engagement.
