Wiesbaden event spotlights youth counselling and early prevention support

An upcoming event in Wiesbaden will showcase the long-running prevention project gEt a LiFe! It's Your Life – Make the Most of It!. Organised by the Impuls Working Group, the information afternoon invites parents and interested individuals to learn about local counselling services for young people. The gathering takes place at Erbenheim Civic Center on April 15. The gEt a LiFe! project has supported school classes since 2006. It introduces students to various counselling services, encouraging them to seek help early. Topics covered include conflict resolution, mental health, and addiction prevention.

The Impuls Working Group, part of Wiesbaden's Prevention Council, brings together experts from different institutions. At the event, attendees can speak directly with specialists from local services. A full list of participating organisations is available at www.getalifewiesbaden.de. Registration for the afternoon remains open until April 2. Those interested can sign up online via www.jiz-wiesbaden.de/anmeldungsportal/get-a-life-info-nachmittag. The project continues to offer young people confidential guidance and professional support.

The April 15 event provides a chance to explore low-threshold counselling options for young people. Parents and visitors will leave with practical knowledge about available services. Organisers hope the afternoon will strengthen community awareness of early intervention and support.
