Meiningen Welcomes a Spectacular Circus Show by Local Pupils in 2025
A professional circus will bring its big top to Meiningen next spring. The 1st East German Project Circus André Sperlich will set up at the Dolmarstraße sports field from May 18 to 21, 2025. Local pupils will take centre stage in a spectacular show called Tina’s Dreamland. Founded in March 2000, the circus has become Germany’s leading provider of educational circus projects. For over two decades, it has blended cross-curricular learning with social skill development. Professional trainers guide the children, giving teachers a break while ensuring safe, high-quality instruction.
The week-long workshop will culminate in public performances on May 20 and 21 at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM each day. Pupils from Ludwig Chronegk Primary School and the *Werrahüpfer im Park* Kindergarten will star in the show. Since 2020, the company has featured its own fourth division, presenting *Tina’s Dreamland* as a highlight. Admission is free for Ludwig Chronegk pupils, thanks to sponsorship from the *Friends and Supporters of Ludwig Chronegk Primary School* association and other local backers.
The event marks the circus’s first visit to Meiningen in 2025. Children will display their newfound skills under the big top. The performances will wrap up a week of creative learning and teamwork.
