Educators from various institutions gathered to refine their approaches in higher education. The programme kicked off with an opening speech by Prof. Rajan Saxena, who discussed transformational leadership in higher education. His session set the tone for the week’s activities, emphasising visionary approaches to teaching.

On the second day, Prof. Arun Sreekumar led a workshop on the Case Method of Teaching. Participants explored how real-world scenarios could deepen student engagement and critical thinking. Day three featured Prof. Veena Vohra, who focused on experiential learning. Her interactive session highlighted hands-on techniques to make lessons more impactful. The fourth day shifted to the neuroscience of learning and the role of Artificial Intelligence in academia. Experts examined how brain research and AI tools could shape modern teaching practices. The FDP concluded with a session by Prof. N. Jayasankaran on *How to Become a Masterful Teacher*. His talk provided practical insights into refining classroom presence and instructional effectiveness. The closing ceremony included certificate distribution and the launch of Faculty Learning Circles, a new initiative for ongoing professional development. Prof. Aravind Chinchure played a key role in designing the programme, while Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar and Dr. Vijaylaxmi Sharma coordinated its execution. Their efforts ensured a structured and engaging experience for all attendees.

The FDP equipped participants with fresh pedagogical tools and collaborative networks. The launch of Faculty Learning Circles will extend the programme’s impact beyond the five days. Educators now have access to continued support as they apply these new methods in their classrooms.
