Magadan's Steps to Growth Forum Honors 100+ Student Achievements in Academics and Arts
The third Steps to Growth Achievement Forum took place at Magadan’s First Lyceum, named after N.K. Krupskaya. Over 100 students received recognition for their accomplishments across academics, sports, arts, and civic activities. The event also highlighted the role of teachers, mentors, and parents in supporting their success.
Students were honoured in a wide range of categories, from poetry and vocal performance to esports and theatre. Their achievements spanned research projects, athletics, and community involvement. Each award reflected individual strengths and collective dedication.
Deputy Chairman of the Magadan City Duma, Viktor Barinov, addressed the gathering. He stressed that every student’s success is unique and shaped by shared effort. Barinov acknowledged the vital contributions of 28 teachers and mentors, as well as six parents, for their guidance. Closing his remarks, Barinov expressed hope that these awards would inspire the students to see them as a fresh starting point for future endeavours.
The forum celebrated both student achievements and the support systems behind them. With more than 100 young people recognised, the event reinforced the importance of collaboration in education. Organisers and attendees alike looked ahead to the continued growth of Magadan’s youth.
