IIT Delhi zone sweeps top three ranks in JEE Advanced 2026 results

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced the JEE Advanced 2026 results. Candidates from the IIT Delhi zone dominated the top three positions in this year’s Common Rank List (CRL). Shubham Kumar secured the first rank with a score of 330 out of 360, making him the all-India topper. Kabeer Chhillar followed closely in second place with 329 marks, while Jatin Chahar claimed the third spot with 319 marks. All three toppers belong to the IIT Delhi zone.

Arohi Deshpande, also from the IIT Delhi zone, achieved the highest rank among female candidates. She scored 280 marks and secured an all-India CRL rank of 77. Out of 1,87,389 registered candidates, 1,79,694 appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. A total of 56,880 candidates qualified for admission to the IITs and other participating institutions. Among them, 10,107 were female, highlighting increased participation and success in the exam. With results now declared, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2026 counselling and seat-allocation process has begun.

The JEE Advanced 2026 results show strong performance from the IIT Delhi zone, securing the top three ranks. The next step for qualified candidates is the JoSAA counselling process, where seats will be allocated across participating institutions.
