Teesside University Online partners with FutureLearn to boost global flexible education
Teesside University Online (TU Online) has teamed up with FutureLearn to expand its global reach. The partnership comes as FutureLearn launches FLx, a new platform designed for workplace training. Both organisations see this as a chance to grow their influence in flexible education. TU Online provides a range of flexible courses, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and certificate programmes. These are tailored for students balancing work and personal commitments. The university has also earned recognition, achieving TEF Gold and being named the Daily Mail Modern University of the Year.
FutureLearn recently introduced FLx, a platform aimed at businesses and learning and development teams. It offers customised training solutions for workplaces. The partnership with TU Online will help the university connect with more learners worldwide. Emma Adcock, Director of TU Online, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration. She highlighted how working with FutureLearn reflects the success of Teesside University Online’s approach to education.
The agreement between TU Online and FutureLearn will broaden access to flexible learning. TU Online’s courses will now be available to a wider international audience. The move aligns with FutureLearn’s push into workplace training through its new FLx platform.
