MeinFest 2027 boosts inclusion with new school playground game

The Schiefbahn Business Association has once again placed children at the centre of its annual MeinFest festival. This year’s event, held in 2027, focused on inclusion—a value shared by Hubertus Primary School, which received support from the association’s fundraising efforts. Proceeds from the festival were used to enhance the school’s outdoor play area.

The association donated a new outdoor game to Hubertus Primary School, which serves 210 pupils across ten classes. The game, 4 in a Row, is a vertical version of Connect Four, designed with a flat, table-like structure. It was sourced from the Netherlands and installed on a separate section of the school fence, giving students more play options.

The donation aligns with the school’s inclusive approach, which was a key theme of the 2027 MeinFest festival. The event’s proceeds were directed towards both charitable causes and local education. Meanwhile, ongoing construction work on the school grounds is expected to finish by late November 2027, further improving the facilities for pupils.

The new 4 in a Row game now joins the school’s collection of outdoor activities. With construction set to complete later this year, Hubertus Primary School will offer students an even better environment for learning and play. The Schiefbahn Business Association’s support continues to benefit both the school and the wider community.
