Local Students Shine at Thuringia's Math State Championship
Stadtlengsfeld Community School has celebrated its students’ success in the Thuringia State Mathematics Competition. Three pupils from the school qualified for the event in Erfurt, showcasing their skills against 51 participants from grades 5 to 9. The school community gathered to honour their achievements and hard work. The journey began in April with the school round of the competition. After strong performances, three students advanced to the state level in Erfurt. Their dedication and problem-solving abilities earned them recognition.
Felix Beckmann, a 9th grader, made his debut at the state competition and secured second place. Marley Bacher also stood out, finishing in third place overall. Both results highlight the students’ determination and talent.
Back at school, a special ceremony was held to celebrate the top scorers from each grade. Teachers, parents, and classmates congratulated the participants, praising their enthusiasm and courage. The event reinforced the school’s pride in its young mathematicians. The students’ achievements reflect months of preparation and perseverance. Their success at the state level has brought recognition to Stadtlengsfeld Community School. The entire school community continues to support and encourage its talented pupils in future challenges.
