Kazakhstan's youth explore military careers in patriotic guidance session
A career guidance session for students in grades 9 to 11 was recently held in Kazakhstan’s Karasai District, Almaty Region. The event focused on promoting military service as a career path while reinforcing patriotic values among young people. The session provided detailed information on military education opportunities, including admission requirements for academies. Organisers also explained the training structure, living conditions for cadets, and potential career progression.
Gani Kambarbekuly, an inspector from the Karasai District Defense Affairs Office, addressed the students. He emphasised the high demands and responsibilities of a military career, stressing the need for discipline and moral resilience. Major Kaisar Auelyov, a senior assistant at Military Unit 3660, also attended, offering insights into conscript selection and assessment. Adilbek Kanaliev, head of the regional public association *Veterans of Mountainous Karabakh*, joined the event. The discussion highlighted commitment to duty as a core quality for future servicemembers.
