Kazakh Student with Cerebral Palsy Earns Spot at UC Berkeley
Mansur-Soyor Dosanov, a student from Almaty, has secured a place at the University of California, Berkeley—one of the most competitive universities in the US. Despite living with cerebral palsy, he achieved outstanding academic results, earning admission to study mathematics and physics at the prestigious institution. Dosanov scored 1530 out of 1600 on the SAT, a standardised test widely used for US university admissions. His English proficiency was equally impressive, with an 8.5 on the IELTS exam.
