From metal technician to lawyer: Dr. Oliver Quinz joins Schiefer Rechtsanwälte
Oliver Quinz joins procurement law specialist firm Schiefer as a new attorney.
Oliver Quinz will assume his role as a lawyer at Schiefer Rechtsanwälte on May 1, 2026, following his admission to the bar on April 27, 2026. He had already spent the majority of his legal traineeship actively working at the firm, according to a statement.
From Metal Technician to Lawyer
The career path of Dr. Oliver Quinz defies conventional categories—and that is precisely what makes it so inspiring. Beginning as a metal technician in 2011, he later decided to change course, pursuing a degree in law and completing his studies in 2019.
After gaining court experience, Quinz started his legal traineeship in 2020 and joined Schiefer Rechtsanwälte in 2021. In the fall of 2024, he completed his doctoral studies, and in the fall of 2025, he passed the bar exam.
The Statement
"Oliver Quinz is the perfect example of how competence and passion drive a remarkable career. We are incredibly proud of his journey and look forward to shaping and redefining the future of procurement law together with him," said Schiefer partners Martin Schiefer, Maria Troger, and Christian Richter-Schöller.
