FESCO launches hands-on logistics training for Primorsky Krai students

FESCO Transport Group has expanded its educational initiatives in Primorsky Krai to help motivated students explore careers in transport and logistics. The company has teamed up with local universities and the Sirius. Primorye regional centre to offer hands-on learning opportunities for teenagers across the region. In April, 40 students from grades 8 to 10 took part in the Logistics: Projects of the Future programme. Far Eastern Federal University instructors led the sessions, introducing participants to logistics processes, project-based learning, and teamwork skills.

A month later, mentors from Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University guided another group through real-world cargo delivery challenges. The May programme also provided graduates with bonus points toward their Unified State Exam scores when applying to Nevelskoy Maritime University.

Vera Yakovleva, Director of FESCO’s Corporate Social Responsibility Department, highlighted the company’s goal of showing high school students the opportunities available in the transport and logistics sector. The specialised sessions were led by experts from Vladivostok’s top universities, ensuring students received practical insights into the industry. The partnership between FESCO, Sirius. Primorye, and local universities aims to give every motivated student in Primorsky Krai a clearer path to professional development. Graduates of the programmes now have both new skills and potential advantages when applying to higher education in the region.
