Saudi Firm to Build $21M High-Tech Plant in Russia's Dzerzhinsk

A major new industrial project is set to launch in Dzerzhinsk, Russia. Saudi Arabian company Innovative Facade Solutions will build a high-tech plant in the Kulibin Special Economic Zone. The development marks a significant investment in the region’s manufacturing sector. The plant will specialise in transparent architectural structures, handling every stage of production. This includes manufacturing, assembly, glazing, testing, warehousing, and shipping. The goal is to fully localise production in Dzerzhinsk, reducing reliance on imports.

The project carries a total investment of 1.96 billion rubles, equivalent to around $21 million. Construction and setup will take three years, with an expected return on investment within six years. Once operational, the facility will create 230 new jobs in the area. Innovative Facade Solutions already operates in several countries, including the UAE, Qatar, and the UK. The company’s expansion into Russia follows earlier efforts by the Nizhny Novgorod region to strengthen economic ties with Latin American nations.

The new facility will bring advanced manufacturing capabilities to Dzerzhinsk. With a planned workforce of 230, it aims to boost local employment and industrial output. The six-year timeline for returns reflects long-term confidence in the region’s economic potential.
