Rostelecom's New Workshops Train Altai Students for Real-World Business Challenges

Rostelecom has organized a series of professional development sessions for students at Altai Business College in Barnaul, delivered in the engaging format of a board game.

Working in teams, students honed their communication skills, learned to present themselves and their ideas effectively, and practiced decision-making in crisis scenarios. The interactive game-based approach allowed them to apply professional competencies in real-time and receive expert feedback.

Marina Anisimova, Head of Active Sales at Rostelecom's Altai branch, commented: "This interactive training series aims to prepare young professionals for the modern business environment and to identify talent in the regional labor market. We wanted students to understand the in-demand skills in IT and telecommunications, helping them move more confidently toward their career goals."

Anastasia Baranova, a third-year student at Altai Business College, shared: "We gained firsthand insight into how major companies operate and what employers expect from us. It was also a chance to assess our own skills and better navigate the job market."

Svetlana Vasilyeva, Head of the college's academic department, added: "These sessions help students grasp the demands of today's labor market and build confidence in their career paths. We appreciate the company's willingness to share its expertise and its openness to collaborating with educational institutions."

The workshops represent the first step in Rostelecom's partnership with Altai Business College. The company will continue sharing its experience and supporting the professional growth of future specialists.
