Magadan launches free career training for high-demand jobs in AI, cybersecurity and heavy machinery

From drone operators to AI specialists, Magadan's free courses help residents reskill for today's job market. Military personnel and parents get priority access.

Magadan launches free career training for high-demand jobs in AI, cybersecurity and heavy machinery

Magadan Region, April 28 – The most sought-after training programs are for drone system operators, Category C vehicle drivers, and specialists in the implementation and use of neural networks, according to the press service of the Magadan Region Employment Center.

Free training is available to participants in the special military operation and their family members, women on maternity leave or raising children under seven, people with disabilities, pensioners, pre-retirees, and other residents eligible for employment support measures.

Under the national Human Resources project, Magadan residents can currently enroll in the following in-demand programs: - "Corporate Cybersecurity: From Legislation to Practical Implementation" - "Excavator Operator" - "Bulldozer Operator" - "Category C Vehicle Driver" - "Drone System Operator" - "Applying Artificial Intelligence in Managerial Decision-Making"

Separate courses are offered to participants in the special military operation to help them readjust and return to the workforce more quickly: - "Data Analysis Using Excel" - "Procurement Specialist" - "Tender Manager: Procurement for Suppliers" - "Public and Municipal Procurement Systems"

Applications can be submitted through the Work in Russia portal via a verified Gosuslugi (State Services) account or in person at the regional Human Resources Center. Before enrollment, career counselors provide vocational guidance to help applicants choose the most suitable program. Upon completion, participants receive a qualification certificate or a professional development diploma.
