Kazakhstan continues its efforts to foster a culture of safety among students, with more than 50 specialized Young Rescuer classrooms now open across the country, training nearly 1,000 children, reports our website.

In Mangistau Region's Tupkaragan District, students have joined the ranks of Young Rescuers. The classroom, launched at Y. Omirbayev School, teaches the fundamentals of rescue operations, fire safety rules, first aid, and emergency response in various crisis situations.

Special emphasis is also placed on instilling responsibility and patriotism.

"Work to establish these specialized classrooms is underway in West Kazakhstan Region. Just this March, Young Rescuer classes opened in Chingirlau District and in Dostyk village, Bayterek District. Rescuers educate children about the specifics of emergency services, the importance of discipline, responsibility, and readiness to act under any conditions. The classrooms are equipped with the necessary tools to develop practical skills and a safety-conscious mindset," the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted.

In Aktobe, a dedicated classroom has opened at Secondary School No. 45, where students learn emergency behavior skills and how to provide assistance in critical situations.

"Nationwide, systematic training is being conducted to teach schoolchildren the basics of safety and emergency response. Over 50 Young Rescuer classrooms are already operational, offering both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. These initiatives aim to cultivate a culture of safety and prepare the younger generation for life's challenges," the ministry stated.
