Get Exclusive Discounts: Juleica Card Training Now Open in Solingen
Volunteers in youth work in Solingen and beyond can now enjoy exclusive discounts with the Juleica card. This nationwide ID not only serves as an official qualification certificate but also legitimizes holders towards authorities and institutions.
The city of Solingen is offering a multi-day course to obtain the Youth Leader Card (Juleica) in November and December 2025. The training consists of eight dates, including five on-site sessions at the House of Youth and three online sessions. Participants will learn about tasks, roles, limits of youth leaders, pedagogical and psychological basics, legal and organizational issues, child and youth protection, prevention of sexualized violence, diversity, inclusion, and gender equality.
For those unable to attend the course, the Juleica can be applied for online at www.juleica.de. A second training course is planned for 2026, with registration open now at https://survey.lamapoll.de/Anmeldung-Juleica-Schulung.
The Juleica card, benefiting from exclusive discounts at various companies and organizations, is a testament to the value of voluntary work in youth services. With the upcoming course in Solingen and the online application option, more volunteers can obtain this recognized qualification.
