Deakin University Tops Agent Satisfaction Rankings in Australia and New Zealand

Deakin University has been named the leading institution in Australia and New Zealand in Edified’s 2025 Agent Perceptions Tracker (APT). The survey, now in its second year, measures agent satisfaction across 18 key service areas. Deakin stood out for its speed, flexibility, and strong engagement with education agents worldwide.

The APT evaluates universities on admissions, recruitment, marketing, and scholarships. Deakin ranked first in turnaround times, recruitment responsiveness, and admissions efficiency. It also topped the list for its user-friendly agent portal.

Beyond these areas, the university secured a top-three position for genuine student processes, product training, and scholarship offerings. John Molony, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Vice President (International) at Deakin, credited the results to the institution’s long-term commitment to building agent relationships. Thomas Eastwood, a Senior Consultant at Edified, highlighted Deakin’s focus on service consistency and agent support. The APT, growing in influence, will soon expand to Canada in September 2025 and to the UK in 2026. Other high-performing universities in the region included RMIT University, The University of Adelaide, La Trobe University, Curtin University, and Auckland University of Technology.

Deakin’s top ranking reflects its dedication to efficient processes and strong agent partnerships. The APT’s expansion into new markets will further shape how universities engage with agents globally. The survey continues to serve as a key benchmark for agent sentiment in international education.
