Calvià's vibrant Europe Day celebration unites locals and visitors in Palmanova

Calvià marked Europe Day with a lively celebration in Palmanova on Sunday, May 10. The event brought together live music, street performances and family-friendly activities along the seafront promenade. Organised by the town hall, the festivities ran from morning until late evening. The heart of the celebrations took place at Palmanova’s Passeig de la Mar. An international market lined the promenade, offering food and crafts from different countries. Local associations and performers filled the streets with traditional Mallorcan dance and music, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

Several parades weaved through the area, drawing crowds of all ages. Children took part in face painting, inflatable attractions and interactive games. As the day progressed, DJ sessions and live bands kept the energy high into the evening. The event highlighted cultural diversity and European unity. It has now become an annual tradition in Calvià, attracting both residents and visitors each year.

The day-long programme wrapped up at 10pm, following hours of entertainment and community activities. Organisers aimed to foster a sense of togetherness while showcasing the region’s cultural richness. The celebration once again confirmed Palmanova as a key location for public events in Calvià.
