Young Artists from Rehabilitation Center Shine at Russia's Cascade of the Arts Festival

Young Artists from Rehabilitation Center Shine at Russia's Cascade of the Arts Festival

Educators at a branch of the Social Rehabilitation Center organized the participation of their young charges in the 3rd All-Russian Multigenre Festival-Contest "Cascade of the Arts", dedicated to the Year of National Unity in Russia, the regional Ministry of Labor and Social Policy's press service reports.

The selection of creative projects was preceded by an educational discussion titled "All the Peoples of Russia." During the event, the children shared their knowledge of the ethnic groups living across the country's regions, examined traditional costumes, and explored everyday cultural artifacts.

The young participants submitted their works to the "Cascade of the Arts" festival-contest in two categories: "Decorative and Applied Arts & Visual Arts" and "Oratory."

The festival's expert jury reviewed the entries and determined the winners across different age groups. In the "Decorative and Applied Arts" category, first-place laureates included Maria I., 11 (poster "We Are United!"), Irina M., 7 (poster "The Peoples of Russia"), and Milena G., 9 (poster "Native Expanses"). Second-place laureatesMaria I., 11, Arseny I., 14, Safron K., 15, Zlata K., 12, Elina A., 13, and Bogdan V., 10—were recognized for their literary and musical composition, "The Harmony of Russia's Peoples Under Our Shared Sky."

In the "Artistic Word" category, second-place laureates were awarded to Maria I., 11, Milena G., 9, Bogdan V., 10, Elina A., 13, and Margarita M., 13, for their work "I Will Draw My Country."

We congratulate the children and their educators on their victory at the All-Russian "Cascade of the Arts" Festival-Contest and wish them further creative success!

The events held as part of the Year of National Unity in Russia aim to reinforce young people's understanding of the diversity and unity of the country's peoples.
