Marburg-Biedenkopf – This year, the Department of Family, Youth, and Social Services—specifically the Youth Promotion Division—of the Marburg-Biedenkopf district once again offered training for new youth leaders. The program, attended by 13 participants, was organized in collaboration with the Youth Services of the town of Rauschenberg and the Youth Promotion Office of the town of Kirchhain. Over three weekends, the participants completed the 42-hour course at the district's leisure, education, and conference center in Weimar-Wolfshausen.

"It's always inspiring to see so many young people volunteering their time—our heartfelt thanks go out to them," emphasized Peter Neidel, the district's First Deputy Commissioner. He presented the certificates to the participants, adding, "I'm delighted by the diverse commitment shown here. This training gives participants confidence in their roles, which in turn makes working with young people even more rewarding." He also expressed gratitude to Melanie Hikade, a volunteer with the Marburg-Biedenkopf district who supported the team, as well as to Stefan Ulrich of Rauschenberg's Youth Services and Julian Fliege of Kirchhain's Youth Promotion Office for designing the program and their years of successful collaboration.

The Juleica (Youth Leader Card) aims to strengthen and recognize volunteer work in youth services. The youth leader training follows standardized guidelines nationwide. Over three weekends, participants completed the 42-hour course, covering essential topics such as legal foundations and child protection issues. The program also included hands-on sessions, where they practiced planning activities and team-building exercises.

The Marburg-Biedenkopf district offers the Juleica certification course once a year.
