Transneft Sever Conducts Hands-On Training for Targeted-Enrollment Students and Transneft Scholars from Ukhta State Technical University
Transneft Sever trains future engineers in oil pipeline automation
Transneft Sever JSC organized practical training sessions for students enrolled under targeted admission programs and recipients of Transneft PJSC's named scholarships at Ukhta State Technical University. The sessions took place at the company's Regional Training Center (RTC) and its administrative headquarters.
At the RTC, students learned about the key technical requirements for automated process control systems (APCS), exploring their various types, structural designs, and the modern equipment used in these systems.
Participants toured the center's laboratories, where they examined the components of automation and telemechanics control panels, studied sensor and transducer operations, and familiarized themselves with an APCS training simulator.
At Transneft Sever's administrative office, students observed the company's dispatch control and management system in action, which allows operators to remotely monitor and control the main oil pipeline stretching from Usinsk to Yaroslavl.
Special emphasis was placed on the functionality of IT systems that support the management of trunk pipeline infrastructure.
Transneft Sever actively collaborates with educational institutions to cultivate a talent pool of promising young professionals for its future workforce.
