Rhön-Grabfeld's 2026 spring courses blend yoga, AI storytelling and career training
Rhön-Grabfeld Adult Education Center Distributes Spring/Summer 2026 Program
This coming late March, the Rhön-Grabfeld Adult Education Center (vhs Rhön-Grabfeld gGmbH) will once again deliver its course catalog for the second quarter of 2026 to every household in the Rhön and Grabfeld regions, as well as eastern Bad Kissingen district.
The concise brochure highlights selected courses across a range of topics for all ages, covering spring and early summer. The full program is available for year-round booking online at *www.die-vhs.de*.
Movement, Creativity, and New Perspectives
The catalog offers a vivid preview of courses in society, culture, languages, basic education, health, nutrition, multigenerational programs, youth education, and career development. Residents can explore fresh opportunities for daily life, work, and leisure.
In Bad Neustadt an der Saale, for example, a ballet course for teens and adults begins on April 30, with eight sessions introducing the fundamentals of classical dance technique and movement.
A creative online course blends storytelling with digital tools: "Turn Your Cat or Dog into the Hero of a Short Story—With AI." Participants will craft their own tales over three Saturdays starting April 11, held via Zoom.
In Bad Königshofen, the "Dance & Step" course kicks off on April 16, combining rhythm, endurance, and movement across ten sessions. Meanwhile, the health-focused course "Posture, Vitality, and Mindfulness with Yoga" starts on May 6 in Ostheim vor der Rhön, with ten evenings dedicated to body awareness, stability, and flexibility.
Training for Certified Tour and Landscape Guides
On April 15, Bad Neustadt an der Saale will launch a certification program for tour and landscape guides, covering regional history, geography, and geology, along with essentials in group leadership, public speaking, and storytelling. Practical exercises prepare participants to lead their own tours.
The program concludes with a final exam and a Volkshochschule (adult education center) certificate. Interested individuals can register now by contacting the vhs team.
Booking and Discounts
All courses are open for year-round registration—online at www.die-vhs.de* or by email at *[email protected]. Residents can also visit the vhs locations in Mellrichstadt, Bad Neustadt an der Saale, Ostheim vor der Rhön, and Bad Königshofen for assistance.
Municipal residents in partner communities receive a 10% discount on many courses, with an additional 5% off for online bookings. Exclusions apply to cooperative courses, travel programs, and multigenerational center offerings.
