Omsk Oblast imposes strict fire bans with heavy fines for violations
Omsk Oblast has enforced a special fire safety regime since April 15, 2026. The measures include strict rules to prevent fires, with penalties for those who break them. The new regulations ban open flames for cooking, including grilling kebabs on apartment balconies. Residents are also prohibited from entering forests during this period.
Gardeners must clear deadwood from their plots or risk fines. Violations carry administrative penalties, with standard fines ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 rubles. If the fire risk level rises further, fines increase to between 10,000 and 20,000 rubles.
The rules aim to reduce fire hazards across the region. Anyone found breaking them will face financial penalties. Authorities have stressed the importance of compliance to prevent potential disasters.
