Professionals in law, business, and technology will soon have access to new learning opportunities. The University of Vienna’s Postgraduate Center is hosting an LL.M. Café in late May, while the EQS Group and WIFI Management Forum prepare webinars and seminars on AI, data protection, and leadership challenges.

These events aim to address critical topics, from upcoming EU regulations to practical tools for integrating artificial intelligence into daily operations. On May 26, 2025, the University of Vienna’s Postgraduate Center will hold its LL.M. Café at the Juridicum, running from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. The event will showcase the latest LL.M. programmes, including specialisations in Labour Law, European and International Business Law, and other advanced legal fields.

Meanwhile, the EQS Group has announced a webinar titled Data Protection in 2025, led by Andreas Schütz, a partner at Taylor Wessing. The session will explore strategic challenges for data protection authorities, focusing on the overlap of law, IT, and governance. It will also examine technological developments like prompt-logging, large language models, and cloud-related risks. Additionally, participants can expect updates on regulatory changes in the second half of 2025, particularly those under the EU AI Act.

The WIFI Management Forum’s 2025/2026 programme will offer over 100 seminars, with a strong emphasis on future-oriented themes. Leaders attending these sessions will receive a practical AI toolkit designed to help integrate artificial intelligence into routine business operations. Other key topics include talent retention, cultural fit, and leveraging social media for employer branding. The forum aims to provide actionable strategies for organisations navigating evolving workplace demands. The LL.M. Café, EQS Group webinar, and WIFI Management Forum seminars will deliver targeted insights for legal, technical, and managerial professionals. Each event focuses on pressing issues—from new legal qualifications to AI adoption and data protection compliance—equipping attendees with knowledge for the challenges ahead. Dates and registration details for the EQS Group webinar have yet to be confirmed.
