Edufair in Abu Dhabi helps students chart their academic futures
Edufair drew steady crowds today as families explored higher education options at Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort in Abu Dhabi. The two-day event attracted over 1,700 students from schools across the UAE, with many seeking clarity on future academic paths. Students moved between university booths, gathering details on degree structures, entry requirements and scholarships. Some also asked about campus life and career prospects in their chosen fields.
Grade 10 student Srijith Vijayababu attended to better understand engineering pathways. Meanwhile, Malavika Harikumar explored engineering and computer science courses, planning to study abroad. Kavy Bapodra focused on software engineering, speaking directly with university representatives. Shubh Jolly, a Grade 12 student from Royal Academy Ajman, researched pilot training programmes. Mohammed Tariq looked into business-related courses, while Sheza Fathima, in Grade 11, narrowed her options to forensic science or business studies. Jonathan Abraham also used the fair to refine his higher education choices. The event remained busy until 7pm, with families and students actively engaging with exhibitors.
Edufair concluded after two days of high attendance, providing students with direct access to university representatives. Many left with clearer plans for their academic futures, having explored courses, scholarships and career opportunities in detail.
