Young CIS Innovators Pitch Bold Solutions at Astana’s *100 Ideas* Finale
Astana recently hosted the final of the international youth project 100 Ideas for the CIS. The event gathered delegations from eight Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, including Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Young innovators showcased projects spanning education, technology, ecology, and national security.
Participants presented a wide range of initiatives designed to tackle real-world challenges. Asanaly Shomanov, representing Kazakhstan, introduced an educational mobile service that consolidates courses on school subjects. Plans are already underway to release an English version of the app.
The final in Astana provided a platform for young innovators to present solutions in key areas like digitalisation, ecology, and security. Successful participants will now receive backing to develop their projects further. The initiative continues to expand, fostering cross-country cooperation and practical problem-solving among the next generation.
