His journey at the Federal Employment Agency, marked by challenges such as the aftermath of the financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the refugee crisis, has equipped him with invaluable lessons on unity, commitment, and reliability.
Götz began his career at the Federal Employment Agency, holding various specialist and leadership positions. He served as managing director for benefit payment in Munich and for placement and counseling in Regensburg. He also led the Controlling and Finance department in Nuremberg.

In his new role, Götz's focus is on child protection, prevention, early promotion, and supporting families. He emphasizes the importance of close and trusting cooperation with schools, free carriers, and other partners.
Götz expresses great gratitude for the challenges he faced at the Federal Employment Agency, including the limited financial resources and the need to balance the expectations of employees, partners, and the public.
