Yakutia’s *Land of Heroes* program trains future public sector leaders
Yakutia has launched a new leadership program to train skilled managers for its government and public sector. Called Yakutia: Land of Heroes, the initiative aims to address key challenges in regional governance. The first watch, Public Sector Governance, will run from January 19 to February 2 at the Yakutia School of Innovative Management. The program is part of the wider Time of Heroes initiative, backed by President Vladimir Putin. It focuses on strategic governance, modern technologies, and financial management in the public sector. The first watch marks the start of a broader effort to improve leadership in Yakutia. Trained managers will bring updated skills to government roles, supporting better decision-making and service delivery. The program’s first cohort will complete their studies in early February.
