Yakutia Trade Union Leaders Sharpen Skills at Workshop
The Federation of Trade Unions of Yakutia recently hosted a leadership workshop, attended by 35 trade union activists from various industries. The event, held on October 23, was conducted by specialists from the Institute for the Development of Advanced Educational Projects at M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University.
The workshop aimed to enhance the professional competencies of union leaders, focusing on developing and strengthening leadership qualities for effective work in trade unions. Participants found the event practical and valuable for sharing experiences with colleagues.
The training program sought to engage employees and safeguard their labor rights, while also updating the theoretical and practical understanding of trade union activities. Modern techniques for engaging workers in the labor movement were introduced during the workshop.
The Federation of Trade Unions of Yakutia plans to continue hosting training events for union activists until April 2026, building on the success of the October 23 leadership event.
