Yakutia Federation Nurtures New Activists in Trade Union Leader School

The Yakutia Federation of Trade Unions recently hosted the Young Trade Union Leader School, an educational project aimed at nurturing new trade union activists. The program, running from September 2025 to March 2026, featured insightful sessions on various aspects of trade union activities.

Maya Kurneva, a prominent figure in the federation, led a session focused on the 'League of Happy Nations' game. This interactive activity was designed to enhance team building and leadership skills among the participants. Meanwhile, Valentin Fedorov, another key figure, delivered a practical session on labor safety, a crucial aspect for professionals across various fields.

Fedorov's session delved into common labor safety violations and prevention methods, using real case studies to illustrate his points. He paid particular attention to labor safety situations that are relevant to a wide range of professions, making his session highly informative and applicable. The trade union of the Republic of Sakha took over the leadership of the latest seminar at the Youth Leadership School, held on October 18, 2025.

The Young Trade Union Leader School, with its comprehensive program of training, lectures, and practical sessions, is equipping a new generation of activists with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive positive change in the trade union movement.
