World Youth Festival hosts new entrepreneurship school
In the bustling city of Nizhny Novgorod, the inaugural World Youth Festival Summit is currently taking place from September 17 to 21. This global event is attracting over 2,000 young participants, including 1,000 from Russia and another 1,000 from 120 countries worldwide. Among the various activities, the World Festival of Youth in Nizhny Novgorod features a school of entrepreneurship organized by Avito, catering to young entrepreneurs whose businesses often revolve around digital, IT, SMM, marketing, and design spheres.
Konstantin Agula, GR Director of Avito Services, emphasized the importance of this initiative. He stated, "It's crucial to support young people now because they set trends and were practically born with a phone in their hands." The school consists of 11 sessions and 7 interactive pitching formats. Experts from the company speak at the sessions, providing valuable insights and feedback to help young creative entrepreneurs develop their businesses. Special prizes are awarded to the most active participants in the entrepreneurship school.
Foreign participants find the School particularly appealing because they solve various business tasks, engage in specific cases, and undergo crash tests of some business projects. According to Avito's data for the first half of 2025, 42% of young entrepreneurs post ads for their goods and services online.
Vahtang Khiklandze, Deputy Director General for External Communications of the World Youth Festival Directorate, noted that participants enjoy the format of the School. Konstantin Agula added that at the entrepreneurship school sessions, young entrepreneurs can present their ideas and receive feedback to help develop their businesses.
Earlier, Pravda-nn.ru reported that Nizhny Novgorod was named the "Youth Capital of the World" by an unspecified individual named Gleb Nikitin. The goal of the event is to build connections between young and active people from all over the planet to develop a global international youth community.
Konstantin Agula stated that the School is a testament to Avito's commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs. He expressed his hope that the connections made during the event would lead to the creation of innovative businesses and ideas that will shape the future.
