Wiesbaden’s Young Professionals Break Records with Overseas Internships in 2025
A record number of young professionals and trainees from Wiesbaden completed overseas internships in 2025. The city’s IndA – Internationalization of Vocational Training project sent 34 participants to various European countries for hands-on experience. A ceremony at City Hall on Tuesday, December 2, marked their achievement with the presentation of Europässe certificates.
The program saw nearly double the participants compared to the previous year. Among them were 27 dual-system trainees, 5 school-based trainees, and 2 young professionals. Nine students from Friedrich-List-Schule also took part in the internships abroad.
The 2025 cohort marks the highest number of participants since the program’s launch. With support from Erasmus+ and regional funding, the initiative continues to expand opportunities for young professionals in Wiesbaden. The city plans to build on this success in the coming years.
