Vyazemsky's Kindergarten No. 3 reopens after a 39-million-ruble makeover
Kindergarten No. 3 in Vyazemsky has reopened following a major renovation costing 39 million rubles. The upgrades were carried out as part of Russia's Family national project, launched under President Vladimir Putin's initiative.
The renovation covered essential improvements, including a reinforced foundation and modernised heating and water supply systems. Inside, furniture and bedding were replaced, while 4 million rubles were spent on new equipment and toys for the children.
Outside, the courtyard was landscaped, and playgrounds were installed. An extra 12 million rubles funded these outdoor upgrades, enhancing the space for play and learning.
Elena Gurskaya, a parent, thanked officials for the changes, noting how the better facilities would support children's development. The project is part of a wider plan: by 2027, 13 kindergartens in Khabarovsk Territory will be renovated, with over 728 million rubles allocated from the federal budget. So far, 47 kindergartens in the region have already been upgraded ahead of schedule.
The renovated kindergarten now offers improved conditions for both education and play. With further sites set for upgrades, the Family project continues to expand access to modern facilities for young children across the region.
