Vietnam's Symphony of the Green Island Stuns with Historic Blooloop Awards Win

A Vietnamese performance production has made history by winning two major awards at the Blooloop Innovation Awards. Symphony of the Green Island, staged on the waters of Cat Ba, claimed both the Spectacular Award and the Public Choice Award—marking the first time a Vietnamese show has achieved this feat at the prestigious event.

The show blends art, extreme sports, and cutting-edge performance technology in an open-water setting. Organised by Sun Group, a company known for its award-winning tourism projects, it has also secured two Guinness World Records. This adds to the group's existing records, including one for the world's largest permanent water projection theatre in Phu Quoc.

Since its launch, Symphony of the Green Island has drawn thousands of visitors each night, boosting Cat Ba's evening economy. The production has become a summer highlight, transforming the island into a key destination for marine tourism and entertainment.

The Blooloop Innovation Awards celebrate projects that push creative boundaries and redefine global visitor experiences. Sun Group's latest success underscores its reputation for delivering groundbreaking shows.

The double win places Symphony of the Green Island among the world's most innovative performances. It also strengthens Cat Ba's position as a growing hub for night-time tourism. The show's ongoing popularity continues to attract crowds, supporting the island's economic and cultural growth.
