Vibrant Hummingbird Mural Transforms Fort Collins School Lot

A new vibrant mural, the Hummingbird Transformer Box, has been completed on Stover Street in Fort Collins. The installation was made possible through the City of Fort Collins' Art in Public Places program and transformed a standard utility box in the Poudre Global Academy parking lot into a work of art.

The mural features a vivid depiction of hummingbirds and nature, symbolizing community connection and vitality. The design was led by local artist Larry Tucci, who worked closely with elementary and middle school students from Poudre Global Academy. The project was a collaboration between the school, the city of Fort Collins, and the artist. Tucci guided the students in creating a design that reflects their community and its natural beauty.
