VHS Organizes Brussels Trip to European Parliament on April 14
The local adult education centre (VHS) has arranged a day trip to the European Parliament in Brussels. Scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, the visit will include meetings with officials and a tour of the city's historic sites. Participants must register in advance to secure their place.
The trip begins early, with the bus departing at 7:00 AM and returning at 7:00 PM. Attendees will take part in a discussion with a Member of the European Parliament, one of 720 currently serving in the 2024-2029 legislative term. After the political session, a guided tour of Brussels' Old Town is planned.
Each participant will pay €25 to cover costs. Organisers have stressed that advance registration is compulsory, ensuring all travellers are accounted for before departure.
The event offers a chance to engage directly with EU representatives and explore Brussels' landmarks. With a fixed departure time and mandatory sign-up, the VHS has structured the day to run smoothly. Those interested must confirm their attendance before the trip date.
