The University of Osnabrück (UOS) has announced an exciting opportunity for its students. The 11th International Student Conference (ISC) on the theme 'Living with AI: Youth Navigating Innovation, Ethics and Impacts' is set to take place in Indonesia next year. Students from all fields of study are invited to apply.
The conference, organised by Parahyangan Catholic University together with the International Network of Universities, will be held in Bandung & Jakarta from January 26-31, 2026. UOS students can look forward to engaging with the conference theme and interacting with international peers. The participation fee is $450 if registered by October 17, 2025.
The application process is now open and will close on October 12, 2025. Students are required to submit their CV, motivation letter, current Transcript of Records, and a certificate of enrollment in English. In addition to the conference experience, travel grants and the Henry Fong Award are up for grabs, with three grants of 1,000 EUR each and one award of 400 EUR.
This conference offers UOS students a unique chance to explore the impact of AI, network with global peers, and potentially secure travel funding. With the share of international students in Germany rising to 12.7 percent in 2023, this event aligns with the growing trend of global academic exchange. The Welcome Week for international students at UOS starts on October 1, 2025, providing a perfect kick-off to the academic year and this exciting opportunity.
