Park University Announces Promotions of Two Key Staff Members

In a recent announcement, Kena Wolf, the Chief Enrollment Management Officer at Park University, revealed the promotions of two long-standing staff members. Effective March 1, 2022, Janet Ostrander and Andrew Davis will take on new roles within the university.

Janet Ostrander, who joined Park University in 2009, has been appointed as the senior director of campus center operations. Prior to this, she served as the assistant director of Park's Fort Irwin, Calif., Campus from 2009-12 and the director of Park's campus at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., from 2012-15. More recently, Ostrander held the position of a regional director overseeing operations of 12-14 Park campuses mostly in the western and southwestern U.S.

In her new role, Ostrander will be responsible for overseeing operations at 39 of the University's 41 campuses, excluding the flagship Parkville Campus and Gilbert, Ariz., Campus. She will provide strategic insight and leadership for enrollment and fiscal growth. Notably, Ostrander earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Park University and her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Dakota.

Andrew Davis, who joined Park University in 2011, has been appointed as the associate vice president of enrollment management. Prior to this, Davis held roles as the coordinator and assistant director of student activities at the University of South Dakota from 2008-10. He then joined Park University as the coordinator for student leadership and engagement, a role he held for two years before becoming the director of student success in 2013. In 2015, Davis took on the senior director of enrollment and student success position at Park University, a role he held until his current promotion.

In his new role, Davis is responsible for the University's annual enrollment goals and strategic enrollment plan, as well as the direct and indirect oversight of Park's recruitment and enrollment activities. He resides in Parkville, Mo., and holds both his Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from the University of South Dakota.

These promotions mark significant milestones in the careers of both Ostrander and Davis, and their expertise and leadership will undoubtedly play a crucial role in the continued success of Park University.

Janet Ostrander's promotion to senior director of campus center operations demonstrates her commitment to education-and-self-development, as she earned degrees from both Park University and the University of North Dakota.

Andrew Davis' appointment as associate vice president of enrollment management signifies his progress in career-development, having worked at various positions within Park University for over a decade.
