United Finance & UIU Partner to Boost Graduate Employability and Innovation
United Airlines PLC and United International University (UIU) have joined forces to boost graduate employability and stimulate innovation. The partnership, sealed with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), promises a wealth of opportunities for students.
The MoU, signed by Professor Dr Md Abul Kashem Mia, UIU's Vice-Chancellor, and Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director of United Airlines, aims to equip students with practical skills. It includes hands-on skill development programmes, valuable internships, joint research experiences, career counselling, and financial literacy campaigns.
Students will also gain from seminars, workshops, and innovation-focused events. Professor Mia expressed that these initiatives will offer invaluable industry exposure and enhance students' employability and innovative capabilities. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam echoed this, stating that the partnership aims to empower students with essential skills for career success and contribute to the nation's economic progress.
