Ulyanovsk Aviation College Set for Major Upgrade in National Youth Project
Ulyanovsk Aviation College is set for a significant upgrade as part of the national project Youth and Children. The modernization marks a new chapter in the college's development and aims to enhance its role in supporting the aircraft manufacturing industry.
The college, previously known for its Professionalitet program with over 2,000 students, will now benefit from a comprehensive renovation. Governor Aleksey Russkikh has ordered the purchase of advanced equipment, including tools for composite materials and aircraft modeling and repair. This will enable the college to train skilled young professionals in partnership with leading enterprises.
The renovation will transform three floors of the academic building and the gym into a state-of-the-art educational and methodological center, focusing on aviation and transport sectors. This upgrade is part of a larger plan to improve vocational education across Ulyanovsk Oblast, with 12 campuses scheduled for upgrade by 2028.
The modernization of Ulyanovsk Aviation College, supported by the national project Youth and Children, is expected to boost the region's aircraft manufacturing industry. The new facilities and equipment will enable the college to train highly skilled professionals, better preparing them for the demands of the modern workplace.
