UiTM’s new alumni initiatives bridge students and oil industry leaders
Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) recently hosted two alumni engagement programmes to bridge the gap between students and industry professionals. The events, FKK Echo: Voices of Our Alumni 1.0 and RE-ENGAGE FKK 1.0, brought together students, lecturers, and alumni from the oil and gas sector. Both initiatives aimed to strengthen ties while preparing students for future careers.
FKK Echo connected 27 final-year Oil and Gas Engineering students with experienced alumni. The discussions focused on current industry challenges and emerging opportunities. Students gained insights directly from professionals working in the field.
The two events reinforced UiTM’s commitment to linking academic learning with industry needs. Students left with a clearer understanding of career options and the skills required to succeed. The university plans to continue such initiatives to further strengthen alumni-student connections.
