Two Yakutsk schools win top honors in Russia’s new education excellence program
Two schools in Yakutsk's urban district have received prestigious awards as part of a new initiative by Rosobrnadzor. The Nikolai Alekseev Technical Lyceum and the Yakutsk City Lyceum have been recognised for their high educational standards.
The Nikolai Alekseev Technical Lyceum has been awarded the High Educational Achievement distinction. This honour is part of the Quality Mark for Educational Institutions initiative launched by Anzor Muzaev, head of Rosobrnadzor. The initiative recognises schools that excel in education, with two categories: High Educational Achievement and High Assessment Culture.
In total, 310 schools from 63 Russian regions have received the High Educational Achievement distinction. The Yakutsk City Lyceum, meanwhile, has been recognised for its High Assessment Culture, with 969 schools nationwide receiving this honour.
The recognition of these schools in Yakutsk reflects the high educational standards being achieved across Russia. The Quality Mark for Educational Institutions initiative aims to encourage and celebrate excellence in education.
