TU Braunschweig leads in master’s graduate satisfaction and job success
A recent survey has highlighted strong student satisfaction at TU Braunschweig, particularly among its master’s graduates. The university topped the latest CHE-Masterranking for overall study conditions, with high praise for teaching quality and support. Many graduates also secured jobs quickly and earned above-average salaries compared to peers at similar institutions.
The findings reveal that 82% of students rated the academic quality of teaching as very good. Supervision, study support, and practical teaching approaches received similarly high marks across all evaluated programmes. This level of satisfaction places TU Braunschweig at the top of the ranking for overall study conditions.
Graduation rates were also impressive, with 73.5% of respondents finishing their degrees within the standard duration plus two extra semesters. However, only 26% felt their career preparation was (very) good. Despite this, 45% viewed mandatory internships positively, suggesting some practical training met expectations. Employment outcomes showed 66% of graduates finding jobs within one to three months. The majority (67%) entered manufacturing, industry, or construction sectors, often on standard contracts. Over 60% secured permanent employment, and average earnings exceeded those at comparable universities. Additionally, two-thirds (66%) chose to stay in Lower Saxony after graduating.
TU Braunschweig’s graduates benefit from strong job placement and competitive salaries, with most securing roles in key industries. The university’s high satisfaction scores reflect its focus on teaching quality and student support. These results confirm its position as a leading institution for master’s studies in the region.
