Thomas More U Honors 7 Outstanding Alumni, Including Posthumous Legacy Award Winner

The Thomas More University Alumni Association feted seven outstanding individuals at the 2025 Alumni Awards ceremony. Among them, Joseph F. Roesel was honoured posthumously with the Legacy Award for his lifetime of service and leadership, though details about him remain scarce.

The ceremony recognised individuals for their significant contributions to the University and community. Greg Wilkins received the Honorary Alumnus Award for his steadfast support of the Biology Field Station. Edward Schneider's impressive career in aviation and government service earned him the Professional Achievement Award. Theresa Behan, a long-serving athletic trainer, was presented with the Lasting Influence Award. Meanwhile, Joshua Vogel's impact on community welfare through service and leadership secured him the Citizenship Award.

Charles McFadden and Mary Jo (Volpenhein) McFadden were jointly awarded the Thomas More University Service Award for their enduring commitment to the University.
