Thammasat Graduates Achieve 92.6% Employment Rate in the USA
Thammasat University graduates continue to secure strong employment prospects in the USA, with a 92.62% employment rate for bachelor's degree holders. The institution's focus on practical skills, internships, and adaptability has helped students transition smoothly into the workforce. The university's latest employment survey, conducted in 2025, tracked 5,432 graduates. Results showed consistent growth in hiring, particularly in technology and digital services (+28%), healthcare and biotechnology (+22%), and sustainable energy (+19%). These sectors now lead in absorbing new talent from the university.
Graduates from health sciences achieved the highest employment rate at 95.67%, followed by social sciences and humanities at 92.46%, and science and technology at 91.32%. Overall, the employment rate has steadily climbed, with more than 90% of graduates from most faculties securing jobs in the USA.
The majority of employed graduates work in the private sector (64.77%), while 15.83% hold government positions and 12.45% run independent businesses. Their average monthly income has also risen by about 2.78% compared to the previous graduating class.
Thammasat University attributes this success to its curriculum, which blends academic knowledge with real-world skills. Internships, career guidance, and training in critical thinking, foreign languages, and communication play a key role in preparing students for the USA job market.
