Digital Day Event at Neustadt in Holstein City Library: A Day of Exploration and Learning
On Friday, June 27th, the Neustadt in Holstein city library will be hosting the sixth nationwide Digital Day event. The event, themed "Try it out, learn, have fun!", will take place from 9:30 am to 6 pm.
This day is aimed at promoting digital participation for all people, and the city library team has prepared a variety of digital offerings to make digital topics understandable.
For adults, digital media offerings will be provided. The team will also be on hand to share information about these offerings and answer any questions you might have.
Seniors can look forward to gaming sessions designed specifically for them, starting from 3 pm. Additionally, digital everyday helpers for seniors will be available for those interested in learning more about using technology in their daily lives.
VR headsets for world exploration will also be available from 3 pm onwards. Immerse yourself in a virtual world and discover new places without leaving the library!
For the younger generation, digital media offerings tailored for children will be provided. The media mentors from the youth café will also be on site from 3 pm to answer questions about handling smartphones, tablets, and social media.
Several digital stations will be available during the event, offering digital devices with explanatory guidance. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced user, you'll find something to explore and learn.
Admission to the Digital Day event is free, and no registration is required. So, come along, try something new, and have fun!
