Sverdlovsk Region invests heavily in schools and kindergartens by 2026

Sverdlovsk Region is witnessing significant investment in its educational infrastructure. Governor Denis Pasler has announced plans for modernization and construction of schools and kindergartens in 2025 and 2026. Notable projects include the completion of a 205-capacity kindergarten in Kachkanar and the renovation of nine schools across various municipalities this year.

The Druzhba kindergarten in Kachkanar is nearing completion with a budget of over 120 million rubles. Meanwhile, the dormitory of the Ural State Polzunov College in Kirovgrad is 87% complete under the federal Professionalitet program, with a budget of 157 million rubles. In Yekaterinburg, a 150-capacity kindergarten is planned for the Zheleznodorozhny District.

Governor Pasler's plans include the construction of two new schools in fast-growing districts of Yekaterinburg. Six schools are nearing completion of major overhauls, with six more set to undergo construction or reconstruction in Yekaterinburg, Sosva, Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Krasny, and Petrokamenskoye. In 2026, major repairs will continue at five schools, and renovation projects will launch at ten more. Comprehensive repairs are already finalized at four schools in Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Tagil, Glinskoye, and Altynai.

These initiatives aim to enhance educational facilities across Sverdlovsk Region, ensuring that students have access to modern, well-equipped schools and kindergartens. The projects reflect the government's commitment to investing in the region's future through quality education.
