Students from Kaarst are inspired by local singing talents during the NRW-wide JeKits event in Kaarst.
In North Rhine-Westphalia, the JeKits program continues to inspire primary school students, offering them the opportunity to explore their musical, dance, and creative talents. The JeKits Day, a music event promoting youth music education, recently took place, and a team from Rhein-Kreis Neuss made a lasting impression.
The team, consisting of Jessica Meffert, Banu Böke, Martina Walbeck, Theodor Pauß, Friedrich Stahl, and Marius Schmidhofer, are talented participants from the Rhein-Kreis Neuss music school. They were recognised for their outstanding performance at the event.
The students from Rhein-Kreis Neuss, enrolled in the JeKits program at their school, were part of the performance that moved the attendees, including NRW Minister of Culture Ina Brandes and representatives from the State Music Council, the Culture Council NRW, and the Music Universities.
Martina Walbeck's composition "The Language of the World is Music" was particularly noteworthy, touching the hearts of all who were present.
The JeKits program, an acronym for "Instruments, Dance, Singing for Every Child", is the largest cultural education program in North Rhine-Westphalia. Klaus Mader was also present at the event, adding to the prestige of the occasion.
Ruth Braun-Sauerwein, director of the Music School Rhein-Kreis Neuss, expressed her satisfaction with the success of her students. She noted that all students who performed at the JeKits Day are participating in the program at their schools.
The JeKits Day was organised by the team of the State Association of Music Schools in NRW and the participating program partners. The event aims to encourage and support young musicians, dancers, and creatives, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and passion for the arts.
As the JeKits program continues to grow, it is clear that it is making a significant impact on the lives of young people in North Rhine-Westphalia, nurturing their artistic talent and fostering a love for the arts.
